What are cookies
Cookies are small files a website may store in your browser to keep a session, remember preferences, or enable certain functions. Some last only for the session; others remain until they expire or are deleted.
This policy explains how these technologies are used on the website of Estúdio Hiru Design and complements our Privacy Policy.
How we currently use cookies
The site uses essential cookies to store your preferences and enable technical features. WordPress cookies related to login and administration are used by authenticated users and are not necessarily set during a public visit.
Google Analytics helps measure site traffic. Google Ads and Meta Pixel help measure campaigns. Cookies from these tools require permission in the Statistics and Marketing categories in the preferences panel. There is no newsletter signup at this time.
Examples: wpconsent_preferences stores your choices for 30 days; _ga and cookies _ga_* store Analytics identifiers and session state for up to 2 years; _fbp helps Meta measure campaigns for up to 3 months. Attribution cookies, such as _fbc and cookie families _gcl_*, may depend on a visit originating from an ad. Not all are set on every visit; check the cookies actually stored in your browser.
Consent Mode communicates your choices to Google tags. When optional cookies are denied, limited measurement may occur without storing cookies in those categories.
WordPress technical cookies
Cookie test — wordpress_test_cookie: checks whether your browser accepts cookies on the login page. It is a session cookie and is not used for advertising.
Authentication — wordpress_[hash], wordpress_sec_[hash], and wordpress_logged_in_[hash]: are cookie families used to validate and maintain access for authenticated users. Their duration varies based on the settings and whether the user chooses to stay logged in.
Preferences — wp-settings-[ID] and wp-settings-time-[ID]: store interface preferences for authenticated users. They may persist across sessions, depending on the expiration set by WordPress.
Suffixes vary by installation and user. The families above describe WordPress functions; they do not mean that all these cookies are set on every visit. To check which cookies are actually stored and how long they last, use your browser settings.
External services and other technical information
Fonts on this site are provided by Google Fonts. When requesting these files, your browser may send technical information, such as your IP address and request data, to the provider. An external connection does not, by itself, mean that a cookie is being set. For more information, see the Google Privacy Policy.
The hosting infrastructure may also log access data for operation and security. These server logs are separate from cookies stored in your browser.
Links to other websites and services lead to environments with their own policies. Email contact buttons open your email app; a message is sent only when you choose to send it.
How to manage cookies
You can view, delete, or block cookies in your browser’s privacy settings, including restricting third-party cookies. Available options and menu names vary by version.
See the official guidance for your browser:
Google Chrome · Mozilla Firefox · Microsoft Edge · Safari.
Blocking technical cookies may prevent you from logging in or affect features that rely on them. Deleting cookies does not automatically delete messages sent to Hiru or records already kept on servers.
Your choices and future changes
Continuing to browse does not count as consent to optional cookies. In the cookie panel, you can accept all cookies, reject optional cookies, or choose which categories to allow. Essential cookies remain active. To review or withdraw your choices, use the cookie preferences button on the site. Your choice is stored for 30 days. Changes to tools or purposes will be reflected in this policy and the consent controls.
